My life demanded my attention. With a background of health problems, including years of severe bronchitis, ligament issues and allergies, I ultimately had a medical crisis alert me to the fact that my body wasn’t going to get better until I did something about it.

 

A chemical engineer by training, I was geared toward problem solving. I didn’t realize early on that it would provide an ideal foundation for the practice of chiropractic. Since my mid 30s, when I attended Parker University in Dallas, I have been working to uncover and resolve the causes of my patients’ health issues.

 

My recovery took place through a combination of chiropractic treatment, lifestyle changes and NAET. Today, I use both my medical training and personal experience to inform patient care. Over the years, I have had additional training in many modalities, including Sacral Occipital Technique, CranioSacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Accupuncture and Functional Nutrition, allowing me to utilize the most appropriate treatment for the situation.

 

I also apply years of extensive spiritual direction training to help me listen to my patients as I work to really hear what they’re saying. A doctor’s deep understanding of a patient’s needs often plays a significant role in that person’s healing process. Combining focused listening skills with a tactile sensitivity to what is happening in the tissues, my patient-centered approach is geared to identifying each one's underlying issues and addressing them with the best treatments and techniques available.

 

Because I deeply care about each person that comes through my door, I am invested in each one's recovery and optimal health.
